APCOM Hero Award-2024
Noboprobhaat Foundation has been honoured with the APCOM HERO Award 2024 in the Community Organization category — a significant recognition of our grassroots, community-led work with marginalized and gender-diverse communities in rural Bangladesh.
The HERO Awards, presented by APCOM, celebrate the individuals and organizations across the Asia-Pacific region who are making a real difference in the lives of communities facing discrimination and exclusion. For a rural, youth-led organization rooted in one of the most underserved parts of Bangladesh, this recognition affirms that change driven by the community itself — by those with lived experience of the very challenges they work to overcome — has value and impact far beyond its origins.
We are proud of this recognition. Yet, as ever, we have never worked for the sake of awards: we work for our communities, for our rights, and to end discrimination. This honour belongs not to any one person, but to every member of the community who has been part of our journey.

Youth Equality Award-2026
Noboprobhaat Foundation has been honoured with the Youth Equality Award 2026, jointly conferred by Plan International Bangladesh and Prothom Alo. This recognition holds special meaning: it marks the first time the award has been presented to an organization from the rural gender-diverse youth community in Bangladesh — a milestone not only for our Foundation, but for the wider movement for equality and inclusion in the country.
For a rural, youth-led organization built by the very communities it serves, this honour affirms that the voices and leadership of marginalized and gender-diverse young people belong at the centre of the national conversation on equality. It is a recognition shared with every community member, partner, and ally who has walked this journey with us.
As with every recognition we receive, we are grateful — but our purpose remains unchanged. We work for our communities, for our rights, and for a society where everyone can live with dignity in a democratic, inclusive, and just society.
