Our Standing Initiatives
Noboprobhaat Foundation actively sustains a set of standing initiatives that advance our mission and vision. These initiatives are not bound to any single project — we run them through our own organisational capacity. While donor-funded projects periodically strengthen this work, the initiatives themselves do not depend on specific grants. They continue with or without external funding, because they are core to who we are.
Human Rights Violation Public Documentation & Monitoring
Bangladesh's first independent, publicly accessible platform documenting human rights violations against marginalized gender and sexual diverse communities — building an evidence base for advocacy, policy reform, and accountability.
Crisis Response Programme
Our life-saving emergency initiative protecting rural gender diverse communities and organizations in Bangladesh facing gender-based violence, safety threats, doxxing, persecution, and crisis — through direct support, relocation, trusted referrals, and prevention training.
UN Advocacy
Our sustained engagement with UN human rights mechanisms — including the UPR, OHCHR, Special Rapporteurs, and Independent Experts — bringing the voices, experiences, and demands of marginalized communities in Bangladesh to the global stage through formal submissions, joint advocacy, and international solidarity.
Coalition Building
Showhardo Alliance is our coalition-building initiative — uniting community-based organizations from diverse marginalized communities across Bangladesh against gender-based violence, strengthening collective power, shared advocacy, and solidarity across movements.
Learning Academy
Noboprobhaat Learning Academy is our knowledge and skills-building initiative designing courses for youth, activists, organisers, and organisations across Bangladesh — strengthening their capacity, expertise, and lived experience to advance human rights, equality, and social justice.
Inclusive Democracy Initiative
Diversity Youth Parliament (DYP) is a youth-led initiative of Noboprobhaat Foundation dedicated to promoting civic participation, democratic values, human rights awareness, community engagement, and active citizenship among diverse young people in Bangladesh.
HIV Prevention Initiative
Preventing HIV and ending stigma through a community-led model of awareness, access, and accountability — connecting rural gender-diverse youth to trusted prevention information, safer and confidential testing, and respectful, non-judgmental care.
Digital Safety & Security Initiative
Strengthening the digital resilience of marginalized communities and civil society — through practical security training, organizational safeguards, incident response, and digital-rights advocacy for safer online spaces.
